Lisa Kimball, President - is helping Plexus increase its capacity to fulfill its mission. She is an entrepreneur with more than 30 years experience as an organizational consultant with business, government and non profit organizations. As CEO of Metasystems Design Group and Executive Producer of Group Jazz she supported the efforts of teams, task forces, communities and organizations and specialized in helping them leverage the power of new technology and social media. She earned her doctorate in educational psychology, cognition and learning conducting research on how senior executives use system thinking. She is active in online community work, organizational development and skilled in applying complexity-inspired principles. She currently serves on the Board of the Organization Development Network.

Curt Lindberg, Chief Learning & Science Officer - has long been interested in complexity science and organizational dynamics. His interest began during his term as President VHA of New Jersey, a network of 19 community hospitals. The work he did introducing complexity thinking into healthcare led to the formation of Plexus Institute. In Plexus he serves as President. He loves to learn and bring together scientists, organizational theorists and leaders devoted to improving the health of human communities of all types. He co-authored, with Brenda Zimmerman and Paul Plsek, Edgeware: Insights From Complexity Science for Health Care Leaders. H e was awarded a Doctor of Management degree in 2007 from the University of Hertfordshire, in the UK, after completing his studies with Ralph Stacey.

Jon Lloyd,MD - is senior clinical advisor, MRSA prevention. He earned his MD Degree from the University Of Utah School Of Medicine, completed training in general, thoracic and vascular surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centers and was Director of the Surgical Residency Program and Director of the University Service, when it was the only trauma center in Pittsburgh. He was a surgeon and Major in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and served as chairman of the Department of Surgery, Shadyside Hospital from 1978-1988. In 1997, Dr. Lloyd participated in the founding of the Pittsburgh Regional Healthcare Initiative (PRHI) He practiced fulltime at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital until 2002, when he became Medical Advisor to PRHI. In July 2004, Dr Lloyd became Pittsburgh Project Coordinator for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Healthcare System to work on a community-wide effort to eliminate endemic Methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The MRSA prevention model that emerged out of this collaborative effort in Southwestern Pennsylvania has inspired and informed a state wide MRSA prevention initiative sponsored by the state's Patient Safety Forum and supported by the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania and the Governor's Office of Health Care Reform.

Prucia Buscell - is the Plexus communications director and staff writer. She is the editor of the Institute's newsletter, emerging, and the weekly Thursday Complexity Post and the organizer and host of PlexusCalls. Before coming to Plexus, Prucia was a newspaper reporter and freelance writer.

Rebecca Leahy - coordinates all online communications. You'll find Rebecca supporting and maintaining the operation of the Learning Networks, updating and maintaining the Institute's database and website. She also helps get ready for conferences, does web research on foundation opportunities and helps with other interesting Institute projects.

Susan Doherty - joined Plexus Institute in 2009 and assists with day-to-day management as well as maintaining blogs and other social media outlets. Prior to coming to Plexus, Susan worked as a project manager for a consulting firm and coordinator for PBS teacher outreach programs.
